One of my go to breakfasts for busy mornings has to be blending up a quick smoothie loaded with healthy ingredients like greens, Hemp Hearts and a variety of antioxidant rich fruits. Smoothies for me are a way to get a ton of nutrients packed into a single drinkable glass that I can literally drink during my commute to work in the mornings.
In todays post, Iβm partnering up with one of my favourite Canadian brands; Manitoba Harvest.Β They make a variety of amazing hemp products and Iβm happy to say that Iβm a Brand Ambassador for the year 2016!Β Β I am excited to bring you delicious and healthy recipes each month featuring the versatility and health benefits of Hemp Hearts and how to add them to your meals.
Today Iβm sharing my top 3 go-to smoothie recipes that will help start your day on the right track. First up is a tangy and refreshing Mango-Orange and Turmeric smoothie blend that is the perfect morning energy pick-me-up with anti-inflammatory properties.Β
Next up, weβve got the Pineapple Green Dream smoothie that provides 2 servings of greens along with skin friendly vitamins and hydration from cucumber and pineapple. Trust me your skin will thank you for this one!Β
Last, but not least, my Chocolate Peanut-Butter Raspberry smoothie because I canβt forget about the chocolate lovers out there, mostly because Iβm a huge one myself! I love this smoothie because itβs basically like a dessert with a ton of antioxidants and protein, perfect as a post workout drink.
Iβve always been more of a sweet break-y kind of girl and not like those who can eat last nightβs dinner leftovers for breakfastβ¦ I donβt know about you but veggies for breakfast just ainβt my thing so when I can add them to a smoothie along with other things to flavour and sweeten it up, Iβm definitely a happy camper.
Besides being the most convenient breakfast option, smoothies also taste amazing! You can flavour them any way you like and still make them very nutrient dense. My rule of thumb is to always add in veggies, fruit, healthy fats and a protein.
Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts not only add amazing benefits like omegas, fiber and protein (even more than chia or flax per serving) but they also add a lovely creamy texture and a slightly mild nutty taste- similar to sunflower seeds. Iβve been adding Hemp Hearts to my food for years and smoothies are definitely one of the most convenient ways to do so.
Manitoba Harvest was also kind enough to offer my viewers a 20% off discount code for their entire website.Β Just use the coupon code “healthnut20” at checkout to receive the discount off your purchase.Β

Hey just want to let you know it looks like this page is unfinished. You have the mango tumeric smoothie on here twice with the wrong image the first time it is listed and you are missing the pineapple recipe.
Thanks for the recipes. I think this page is missing the Pineapple Green Dream, its has same ingredients as the mango one.
I love all your smoothie recipe, thank you so much for sharing.
You’re so welcome! Happy you are enjoying them.
