Its hard to believe that Summer is already half way through and yet, I still haven’t shared with you all the summery things that I’ve been loving.. I know #firstworldproblems right? But seriously, I’ve had a few staples that have been HUGE favourites in my life recently and I can’t wait to share them with all of my favourite peeps aka YOU!

I know that I’ve missed a couple of monthly favourites videos but I want to get back on track with them since I love just chatting and playing show and tell with you guys. It also gives my boyfriend Matt, a break from me talking for hours about all my new favourite things… man, the guys in our lives deserve so much respect for their patience with all things girly that they have to endure.

SO lets get right into it shall we? Here are my favourite beauty, fashion & food things I loved discovering in July.  

BEAUTY

Luminance Skincare Skin Butter Body Cream

This has got to be one of my all time favourite body lotions.  It’s organic, fresh and my skin just soaks it up. It feels like such a treat every time I use it! Bare Minerals Gold Pigment Eye Shadow

I seriously don’t know why it has taken me so long to mention this product to you guys! My girlfriend Ashley gifted it to me last Christmas and it’s been the perfect shade of gold for both the winter and summer months. It’s so versatile and honestly, a little bit goes a very long way. Plus, Bare Minerals products are on the more natural side of cosmetics, and is cruelty free, so you can feel better buying and using their products on your skin. 

Primal Pit Paste Orange Creamsicle Deodorant Stick

I mentioned Primal Pit Paste back when I did my natural deodorant review/showdown (which you can check out here) and this one had to be my favourites because I’ve been using it ever since. It works crazy well while still allowing your underarms to breath and sweat while you exercise. I’ll reapply after a good workout but otherwise, it keeps me stink free and dry all day. 

FASHION

Straw Fedora Hat from Marshalls

I hate to say it, but this isn’t the first time Matt and I have bought matching things. We also have matching Raybans and I’m sure a couple of other things I can’t think of right now, but it does happen. When Matt showed me this hat he found at Marshalls I fell in love. To be fair, it was his idea for me to buy one too as he told me there was a size small as well.. and yes it’s a mens hat and I love it. What can I say Matt has great taste!

Banana Republic Sunnies

Technically these were my little sister Cloe’s before I high-jacked them. I started wearing them because I liked the style and fit, and then my J Crew ones broke so I kept wearing them and eventually Cloe just bought herself another pair. That’s what sisters are for right? Besides, I can pretty much guarantee that she is decked out in half my closet right now!

-Tulula Light Wash Denim Jacket

It was quite the hunt for a new denim jacket this year. I checked American Eagle, H&M, but when I saw this one at Aritzia (a Canadian store) , I fell in love, AND it was on SALE! I feel like it’s one of those pieces I’m going to wear a ton even in the Fall when I layer it with sweaters and scarves. Who doesn’t love Fall fashion? I do J

FOOD 

OXO Pineapple Slicer

This gadget was mind blowing when I picked it up last minute at Walmart as I was buying a fresh pineapple for my Healthy Pina Colada recipe. I remembered my older sister Pam telling me that she swears by hers and now I know why. It makes cutting pineapple literally a dream… it takes seconds and gives you a perfectly sliced (no spikey bits) pineapple. Not to mention, you’re left with a super cool pineapple cup to enjoy a summery drink in on the deck. You can find it here.

Frozen cashews

I have nothing to say except you need to try them…that is all 😉 

So Delicious Cashew Ice-Cream

Sometimes I’m lucky enough to get sent new products that are launching in the market and this one by So Delicious was a great surprise. Who doesn’t want ice-cream sent straight to their door right!? I totally devoured most of its contents but left one tub just so I could show you what it actually looked like before I finished this one off as well. My favourite one was the caramel with chocolate covered cashews… no words. Seriously it was AH-MAZ-ING! Even Matt was shocked that it wasn’t made with dairy because of how rich and creamy it was.  If you see them in your grocery store try them out, you won’t regret it! 

RANDOM
