Healthy Guacamole and Salsa

Ok so lately I’ve been having major cravings for mexican food.. but not the ground beef (I don’t eat red meat), taco seasoning and cheesy stuff! Instead I’ve been after the dips like guacamole and salsa! EverytimeΒ I get intense cravings I always like to experiment on how I can make it myself and how I can make it healthy.

Not only are these recipes healthy versions but they are super easy and simple so you can make a batch up in no time.

Fresh and Spicy Salsa

1 large tomato diced

1/2 a white onion finely chopped

1 green onion finely chopped

2-3 cloves of garlic minced

3 springs of cilantro finely chopped

1 tbsp. EVOO

1/2 squeezed lime

salt and pepper to taste

guacamole

Easy Peasy Guacamole

1 very ripe avocado

2 cloves of minced garlic

2-4 tbsp. of salsa

1/2 a squeezed lime

salt and pepper to taste

NOTE: If your really in a rush and you need a quick bite honestlyΒ just adding the avocado and salsa together tastes amazing since the salsa already has spices and veggies.

    • I’m glad I’m not the only one! I love having rice with black beans especially since it creates a complete protein and I eat vegetarian 90% of the time:) If you have any good recipes send them over!!
