Easy Strawberry Chia Jam
This easy Strawberry Chia Jam recipe is super quick to make, totally delicious and made with healthier ingredients you can feel great about - a real sweet treat!
Servings: 2 cups
- 2 cups frozen or fresh strawberries
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- pinch of sea salt
In a pot add water and strawberries.
Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Using a metal whisk, mash the strawberries to more of a pulp puree texture.
Stir in the maple syrup, vanilla and sea salt and cook for another 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat and whisk in lemon juice and chia seeds.
Transfer to a heat proof air tight container and allow your jam to cool before transferring to the fridge to full set and thicken.
