Spinach Hemp Pesto

Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw baby spinach
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Small handful of fresh raw basil
  • 1/2 cup Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts
  • 1/2 lemon squeezed
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • optional: Sprinkle of **Vegan Parmesan

Instructions

  • Blend all your ingredients in a food processor until you've reached your desired texture. Serve on cooked brown rice pasta, or as a dip for your veggies or crackers!
