First, add the coconut oil to your crockpot and grease the inside of the pot. This helps the mixture from sticking to the pot.
Next add the steel cut oats and water into your crockpot.
Then add in the coconut milk, maple syrup, coconut oil, almond butter, chopped up apples, cinnamon stick, nutmeg, and sea salt.
Cook on high for 4 hours, or low for 8 hours.
Sprinkle with chopped apples, cinnamon, sunflower seeds and maple syrup to serve!
