- 1/8 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp ground clove
- pinch of sea salt
- 1 medjool date pitted

- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup frozen cauliflower florets* (see notes below)
- 1/2 cup frozen banana
Garnish (Optional)
- toasted coconut flakes unsweetened

Add the cashews, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, clove. salt, date, vanilla and ginger root to a high-speed blender. Blend on high until smooth, for about 60 seconds.
Toss in the frozen cauliflower and frozen banana and blend for another 30 to 60 seconds until smooth and creamy.
Pour into 2 glasses and garnish with dried toasted coconut flakes and a dash of cinnamon.
*Notes To prep the cauliflower, fill the bottom of a large pot with 2 inches of water, add a steamer basket and bring the water to boil. Lower the heat to medium, add the cauliflower and cover. Steam for 7 to 9 minutes, until lightly steamed but still firm and crunchy (you don’t want them to be fully cooked and soft). Transfer the steamed cauliflower to a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow to cool completely. Place in the freezer and freeze for 1 to 2 hours. Remove the tray from the freezer and transfer the frozen cauliflower to a reusable freezer bag. Store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
