5 Minute Green Detox Juice

A hydrating Green Detox Juice full of vitamins and antioxidants, made in 5 easy minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 green apple
  • 1/2 large cucumber
  • 2 ribs celery
  • 3 leaves kale
  • 1 med head romaine lettuce
  • 3 inch ginger root
  • 2 lemons peeled
  • 1/2 tbsp Hawaiian spirulina powder
  • Optional: 1/2 cup filtered water

Instructions

  • Wash, peel and roughly chop all of your ingredients.
  • Next, add all ingredients into a high speed blender starting with the more water dense ones like cucumber and celery to get things going easier.
  • Optional you can also add in some water to help your blender out.
  • In a large bowl underneath, strain your juice pulp mixture into either a nut milk bag or *cheesecloth and squeeze out all the juice until you are left with a semi dry pulp.
  • Serve right away on ice or as is and drink up!

Notes

*If you are using cheesecloth make sure to double up some layers of it so it catches all the pulp.
If you have left overs you can store it in a glass mason jar with the lid for 1-2 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 2 weeks.
